Mayor message to Residents
The following statement has been issued by Harrisburg Mayor Eric Gregg:
I would like to extend a grateful thank you to all the wonderful people who have called, faxed or emailed their words of comfort and concern. They are truly appreciated. It is times like this that make you believe in the goodness of your fellowman.
The many offers of assistance are also appreciated and will surely be needed as we begin the cleanup process. 
We are working very hard to get everything in order and to help all those who need it. We are going to take care of every man, woman and child in this community. If you have called me and I have not returned your call, please rest assured that I am making every effort to respond.
In the days ahead we will continue to need your support and assistance. Please keep the citizens of Harrisburg in your thoughts and prayers, especially those who have experienced the loss of loved ones.
