The City of Harrisburg Public Affairs Office/Mayor’s Office is located in City Hall at 110 East Locust Street and is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm, with the exception of holidays.
If you need assistance with complaints regarding garbage/debris, overgrown yards or abandoned vehicles, please call our Code Enforcement Officer at 618-252-2234 to file a complaint or download the appropriate online forms to fill out and return to our offices.
If you need assistance with a complaint regarding a dangerous building or an abandoned/dilapidated mobile home, you may contact the Fire Chief at 618-253-4121 or download the appropriate online form.
The Mayor’s Office is responsible for Sign/Billboard Permits, Liquor Extended Hour Requests, Outside Fire Call billing, Mobile Home Permits, Mobile Home Annual Fees, Proclamations and Resolutions, Raffle Licenses, Site Plan applications, Parade Permit Requests and property liens.
